My Influences; My Playlist.

Just wanna say thanks to all of the ppl who have tweeted me; and sent me myspace commen ts. Okay so i keep getting the same question which is who are your influences and whats on your playlist.
To start of my very first influence was kelly clarkson; I also look up to Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and others are Mariana's Trench and Boys Like girls. Those are my influences.
As for my playlist; i have so much I don't even know where to begin. Well I'm a huge fan of Rock. I have albums from Escape the Fate, Mest, Boys like girls, we shot the moonto the moon, Faber Drive, Kesha on my playlist and as for songs I have many. i have songs by We the kings, Jason Derulo, rocket to the moon, Daughtry, 50 cent, adam lambert, aerosmith, anberlin, Chris Lebelle, Danny Fernandez, Dead by sunrise, Decyfer down, Desciple, Erik Hassle, everyday sunday, John Mayer, Hawk Nelson, Hey Monday, Holiday parade, Jesse labelle, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Justin bieber, Kids in the way, run kid run, kutless, nevertheless, pillar, Pink, Sanctus real, scary kids scaring kids, skillet, stellar kart, tokio hotel, switchfoot, the classic crime and of course selena and demi.

Selena & Demi

so i enjoy hearing rumours about these two. First I hear their amazing bff's and next i hear they're dating and then i hear their broken up then I hear they arn't as tight. Okay so to clear up the rumour mill; i did some research. I remember reading something about demi not wanting to give up on what they have (friend or the like) and selena hasn't said anything regarding the "fight" but i read a quote from selena saying "demi knows exactly what I like."(http://oceanup.com/2009/12/11/selena-demi-knows-exactly-what-i-like) then i read a source today, and a vid where demi shows her jealousy. Many say demi is jealous of Tay Swift for getting more time with Selena. http://justjaredjr.buzznet.com/2010/01/25/is-demi-lovato-selena-gomezs-friendship-really-over/ this site talks about a recent interview with selena and demi, where the magazine interviewed them together about friendships ending. they both gave their opinions about how friendships end, but didnt confirm theirs was ending. They may be having a fight; but they'll always be there for each other. Selena confirms that "friendships end, but regardless, they’ll"(which refers to friendships) "always have each others backs.”
Now, selena has many friends and has been spotted out and about with Tay swift more then demi, but demi has been the busiest out of both of them. In a recent video Selena commented on how much she missed demi and demi posted a video sending a text message to selena saying i miss u too. It's hard to say with these two. my guess is they have an on again off again thing going on. in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrDhqx-xJv4 a fan asks demi "how's selena?" and demi replies with a jealous look and tone saying "ask Taylor?"
Could Tay Swift be getting in the way of Demi and Selenas Relationship/Friendship. No matter the case the girls will patch it up, becuz demi has also been reported to have a falling out with miley cyrus. Looks like demi needs a hand to hold. Odds are the first and only person she'll ever turn to is Selena. Even if they have a falling out (as they call it, but most ppl call it a break-up) they said they will always remain friends and have each others back. The dream team have gone diff ways; but they'll always be in each other's hearts.

The band

okay so the band has finally been fully formed. Tyler (our last drummer) was let go for reasons I can't actually say. But Billy has took up the role and has gotten himself into the band, and he's been holding it together lately and has been the one helping me get down to business with the song writing and has been asking about it and everything. Sadly our bass play has to get a new bass, so Ryan will be looking for one and hopefully will get one soon (things happen right). JJ the lead guitarist has gotten a promotion as bar manager at the club he worked at. Which is great in the long run because we can do karaoke and get music out there.

As for my writting the books have Been going slowly but the series will be done. I'm currently on Book 2 of my supernatural romance series. the first book was a rocket launch and this one is the explosion. I love when books feel like that. Anyway that's all for the update atm. writing.

Okay the hardest part of being a musician is writing the songs. But successfully i wrote an awesome song, which i think is one of my best i've written. the song is called Another Regret, Another Mistake. I have a slight harmony in my head, and im sure the band will love the song:). as for my stories; they're coming along, slowly. It takes time. A Quick Hello

Hi everyone, my name's Shel and I just want to thank you in advance for taking the time to read my blog. I hope it's entertaining but I can't promise anything lol. I'm pretty new at this so sorry if i seem like i don't know what I'm doing. I'm 19 and I'm working hard at trying to be an Author and I'm starting to work harder at being a singer as well. Throughout my many blog entries I'll talk about a lot of random stuff but also about the journey of writing my book, and the long road I'll travel on trying to be a singer, and even news about the band I'm in (being the only girl in a band full of boys isn't as bad as you think lol, their pretty chill guys) If you're wondering; my role in the band is lead singer. The book series I'm currently writing is a supernatural romance, if you're into that I hope you'll read it one day when it's on the shelf. as for me well I'm pretty down to earth and laid back.
